Join Harvard College alum Cynthia Ebeid and her husband Philip Beekman over a pizza lunch as they share how their diverse backgrounds led them to the Foreign Service.  Learn about working at the U.S. Department of State and navigating the professional and personal challenges of a career in diplomacy. Cynthia is a Consular Officer at the National Visa Center and past Presidential Management Fellow in Political-Military Affairs. Philip is the Diplomat-in-Residence for New England. Previously, he was a Senior Watch Officer at the State Department's Operations Center and a Special Assistant for the Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs. Before joining the Foreign Service, Philip worked as a researcher at the Partnership for Public Service in Washington, DC and as a government affairs consultant in Michigan. Collectively, they have served in Jerusalem, Amman, Dubai, Port of Spain, Sarajevo, Ljubljana, and in the U.S. in Washington, DC and currently here in New England.   PLEASE REGISTER TO ATTEND.
