Since coming to the SEC in 2000, Mike has worked on a variety of issues relating to the regulation and oversight of the equities, fixed income, and derivatives markets. Mike began his career in 1995 working on international banking regulation at the Federal Reserve. A Social Studies concentrator, he got his B.A. from Harvard in 1990. Along the way, he did a lot of theatre and played varsity volleyball. Later, he got an M.Phil. from the University of Cambridge and a J.D. from Boston College Law School.
