GRANT-WRITING AND FINDING FELLOWSHIPS

The Program in Graduate Education is pleased to offer the first Professional Development Day (PDD) of the 2019-2020 Academic Year. This PDD will be consist of three sessions. Ideally attendees will attend and participate in the full afternoon of programming.

1:30 pm – 3:20 pm

  • Foundations of Writing: Understanding grants, fellowships, and best practices for crafting winning applications

Presenter: Lisa Goodrich, Ph.D., Professor of Neurobiology, Harvard Medical School

3:30 pm – 4:20 pm

Finding Fellowships and Managing Logistics:

  • Knowing where to look for fellowships (including for international trainees)
  • Meet the administrators who support submissions for NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP), NIH F31 and F31D (Predoctoral Individual National Research Service Award, NRSA)
