Please register to attend. Zoom link will be circulated to registrants the week of the event.

A great way to explore your career options is to try out real job tasks, and you can do this while you’re home! Job simulations can help you explore humanities and social science PhD career paths, narrow down options, and make informed career choices. The job sims are vetted by professionals with career expertise - the projects are true-to-task.

Try out careers in:

  • Higher Ed Administration
  • Writing & Publishing
  • Organizational Management
  • Policy & Advocacy
  • Research in different sectors

Join Thi Nguyen, a career coach, former associate dean of career development, and founder of Before the session, pick out a job sim to work on. Start by reviewing the different career areas and then reading through the background section of the different job sims. Be ready to work in groups on a job simulation and reflect on your relevant skills and strengths for different fields.
