Wondering about how to transition from doctoral studies in the humanities to business innovation and technology?  Come talk with Scarlet Marquette, PhD '13 Slavic, to learn how she got to Silicon Valley after working in consulting, investment management, and tech startups while in graduate school. Scarlet will share insight into how to cultivate a success mindset and the key strategies to excel in business. As Director of Strategic Relations at Singularity University, a Silicon Valley think tank, Scarlet builds and nurtures relationships with multinational corporations, startups, nonprofits, education, and government, helping them to prepare for an uncertain and abundant future of technological innovation. This conversation will be targeted to GSAS students in the humanities but is open to GSAS students in all fields.
