Join this session to explore your interest in international development work. Hear from HKS alums and OCS staff about career pathways and resources. Get ideas to help you with a strategy for success in this dynamic field. The following presenters have worked at organizations including:  Innovations for Poverty Action, Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI) at the University of Oxford, World Bank, IADB, UNDP, UNICEF, Hewlett Foundation, and other agencies and governments:

  • Adriana Conconi, MPA/IDDirector of Strategic Engagement and Development, Center for International Development (CID) at Harvard University
  • Salimah Samji, MPA/ID, Director of Building State Capability (BSC), Center for International Development (CID) at Harvard University
  • Current HKS students Guillermo Tovar, MPA/ID’21 and Beatriz Vasconcellos, MPA/ID’21 will share information about working in various areas of development including:  Education, Financial Inclusion, Behavioral Economics, Pensions, Education Innovation, and Technology.
