Timothy Huang is a playwright, composer, actor and lyricist in NYC. The students of ASAP requested we bring him to Harvard to be a support for the upcoming original student musical The East Side (April 11-14 at Farkas). He will offer an open workshop with four Harvard students (see link below for the student presenters), who will perform their original music live for critique. Afterward, he will be in conversation with the audience. (And after that, he will sit in on a rehearsal of The East Side and give notes; this part is not open to the public.) Themes: songwriting, theater process, vocal performance, musical theater, Asian and Asian American Studies, Broadway, contemporary drama.
