COST: $15 fee to hold your reservation. There is no charge for the site visit. You will only be charged if you cancel within a week before the trip or do not show up on the morning of the visit. TRAVEL: OCS will provide students with transportation (typically in the form of MBTA passes) to travel to and from the site visit.
DESCRIPTION: Come tour America's Test Kitchen, a real 15,000-square foot test kitchen in Boston’s Seaport district that is home to more than three dozen full-time cooks and product testers. The Test Kitchen's goal is to develop the best recipes and cooking techniques, recommend the best cookware and equipment, and rate brand-name pantry staples for home cooks, which are published in their two magazines, Cook's Illustrated and Cook's Country, their growing line of cookbooks, their websites, and featured on their top-rated public television series, America's Test Kitchen and Cook’s Country TV.
