DESCRIPTION: The Boston Healthcare for the Homeless Program (BHCHP) is dedicated to providing access to quality healthcare for all homeless individuals and families in the greater Boston area. They accomplish this by combining medicine and public health and integrating community-based shelters and street clinics with Boston area hospitals. On this site visit we will tour the facility, learn about volunteer and post-graduate opportunities, as well as hear from a BHCHP physician. If you are interested in healthcare, medicine, public health, community health, or advocacy, this would be a great learning experience for you.
