Amanda Peters

Amanda advises undergraduate and graduate degree students and alumni of the Harvard Extension School and delivers related programming. Directly prior to her role with the Office of Career Services/Harvard Extension School, Amanda worked at MIT managing comprehensive career services for two multidisciplinary Master's programs. Her past experience in career counseling, employer engagement, and event delivery for a wide range of clients has included work at the Harvard Kennedy School, MIT's main career services office, Boston University's School of Management and JVS Boston. Amanda holds a Master of Education in Counseling from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Brown.

Amanda grew up in Cambridge and enjoys contributing to the community, including serving on the Advisory Board of The Loop Lab, a Harvard alumni-founded social enterprise dedicated to training womxn and people of color for jobs in AV and media arts fields. If you see Amanda walking to work while staring at her phone, she's probably reading a book.
