My name is Gabrielle Fernandopulle and I’m a junior in Eliot studying Sociology with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. PAFing has been one of my favorite parts of college so far because of all the amazing people in my entryways and everything they’ve taught me. Outside of PAFing, I’m on the Women’s Varsity Rugby Team and the Steering Committee for the First Year Outdoor Program. I’m interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare industry in a non-medical role, and I’ve been lucky enough to find my passion for understanding healthcare systems, healthcare policy, and medical ethics through my classes here. I’m excited to share my experiences working in healthcare systems in China and Singapore as well as the other summer experiences I’ve had in law and teaching that have taught me more about how I want to contribute to the healthcare field. I have lots of great class recommendations if you’re at all interested in looking at health, medicine, or science from a different perspective!
