Heather provides career counseling to graduate students interested in nonacademic careers. She provides a comprehensive range of career development services, including career counseling, self-assessment, workshops, seminars, drop-in advising, and employment preparation. She also offers career advising to undergraduates who are considering applying to PhD programs. Heather originally started her career in the pharmaceutical industry working in both public relations and market research. During her 7+ years in industry, Heather gathered experience in working with various consulting firms, employers, management, and hiring practices. Prior to her time at Harvard, Heather served as a Career Development Specialist at MIT leading the graduate student programs and counseling PhD students and alumni in all fields. Heather received her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Lesley University and in her spare time greatly enjoys hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing, and most outdoor activities.
