Harvard Summer School (HSS) Study Abroad Programs

HSS offers approximately 20 study-abroad programs per year.

Students interested in studying abroad with Harvard faculty should apply directly to up to 2 Harvard Summer School programs of interest and apply to OCS for funding following the instructions below.

We try our best to fund a student's first-choice program, but are not always able to do so. Awards are tied to specific programs, and cannot be transferred to another program.

Unfortunately, OCS only has enough funds to support 50% of accepted students, so be sure to apply to other summer opportunities as well.

Important Dates:

*Students must apply for both programs AND funding separately by their respective deadlines
  1. January 30, 2020, 5:00pm - Deadline to apply to HSS for up to 2 HSS study abroad programs AND to OCS for funding

  3. February 26, 2020 - Deadline to accept/decline funding award
